Cloud Cover’s Mirror Me

Dirty Dishes front-woman Jenny Tuite is a musical force to be reckoned with. While her band Dirty Dishes has regaled audiences all over the country, Tuite continually seeks out opportunities to create. Recording “in glimpses over the past year”, Tuite has finally presented her full-length debut as Cloud Cover. Mirror Me is an ethereal, dreamy experience that sounds like it would be at home in any Sofia Coppola film soundtrack. Tuite creates a soundscape that echoes deep into your REM cycle, right around the point where you aren’t sure if you’ve crossed into nightmare territory.

Mirror Me is out on Disposable America. You can stream the album below, and when you fall in love, you can make it yours for keeps. I’d suggest snatching up a record–Tuite chose to do a limited run of 100, and we are told that not many are left. If records arent your thing, you can always grab a cassette or digital copy. Whatever you do, you owe it to yourself to own this album for those sleepy Saturday mornings this October.
